The photograph you send us will be going into the Event Booklet that each entrant will receive in their Goodie Bag. These handouts are an important and valued part of the Nationals experience so it makes sense that we’re after the best possible image of your car/s that we can get.
While photographs taken with your phone or tablet are normally of a quality high enough for printing purposes, screenshots taken of images on your phone screen are definitely not acceptable. Any images provided that are of insufficient quality for printing in the Event Booklet will be rejected and we’ll contact you directly for a better photograph.
Minimum hard-copy photograph requirements:
landscape oriented images preferred, we can scan odd orientations to landscape if needed
at least a 6” x 4” print (15cm x 10cm)
post it to us with your completed entry form
Minimum digital-image requirements:
landscape oriented images only, portrait images not accepted
at least 300 pixels-per-inch (PPI/DPI) resolution
at least 3000 pixels along the longest edge (~6MP)
up to 10MB files (depending upon your email service)
Rule #1 - NO to portrait, YES to landscape 😁👍

Portrait-oriented image, once we crop it to suit booklet layout and zoom it in the image will be pixelated and blurry. Otherwise has an excellent composition of subject.
Poorly composed image, obscured or out of frame elements make it unclear which vehicle is being displayed. B&W finish adds nothing to the image.
Inappropriate content for a mixed audience, including children. Also poorly photoshopped content - we know she's not 8' tall with an invisible wrist, Terry 😉
Screenshots are 100% unusable. Once cropped down to suit booklet layout the image will be pixelated and blurry.
